Atrophy, dryness
and vaginal pain

Vaginal atrophy causes thinning of the vaginal tissues which become more fragile and less elastic. A progressive modification of the structure of the tissue is a consequence of the lack of estrogen.

During menopause, the lack of estrogen reduces the lubrication of the vaginal tissue.

Symptoms

1

Vaginal drynes: a feeling of lack of natural lubrication.

2

Intimate itching: intimate itching results from vaginal atrophy that persists and tends to get worse.

3

Painful sexual intercourse (dyspareunia): involves a number of psychological consequences.
